About

I like finishing things.

I am a computer engineer from Kathmandu. For five years I have shipped mobile apps for other people: agencies, a political party, a job board used by a million migrant workers, a US health startup. Thirteen of them are on the stores. The ones I am proudest of are the ones where I owned the whole thing, from the first screen to the release pipeline to the number that said whether it worked.

In 2024 the job changed. I was asked to build an AI coach that would be the whole product, not a feature, and to make it safe to trust with someone’s health data. That work, Kai inside Livio, taught me what an agent in production actually needs: tools, memory, evals, cost controls, and a human tap before anything changes.

In 2026 I used the same ideas on myself. I founded Kata Jaam, an event-discovery product for Nepal, shipped it in two weeks, and built a set of agents to run it so the company would not need a second person. It needs about fifteen minutes of me a day. That is now the thing I most want to build for other founders.

Outside work: I follow MMA, run with the Kathmandu running scene my own app lists, and spend too long on the exact wording of a push notification.

How I work

  • Outcome first. Every project starts with the number that will say it worked.
  • Weekly demo builds on your phone, not status reports.
  • AI coding agents do the typing under my review. You get senior judgement at a one-person price.
  • I write things down: a handbook of what not to break ships with every product.
  • I say when I disagree, in two sentences, with the evidence, and then build what you decide.
